I have Jaws 11 and a Windows Vista 64 bit machine. I'm running an ancient
version of IE but until recently had very few problems re accessability so
thought, "if it ain't broken, why fix it?" but now I'm really struggling and
can't get Jaws to read or focus on anything on the net. I couldn't even
arrow or tab down the choices in Google just now...
?I have a little vision and often I can see text on the screen, but Jaws
will report "blank page."
The obvious answer seems to be that it is time to upgrade either Jaws or IE.
Simplest option firstthough, and update IE, but I'd like to know if anyone
else is successfully using Jaws 11 with IE 11 before I do anything that will
make accessability worse - although there are few things more frustrating
than actually seeing text on the screen while Jaws won't budge!
I haven't torn any hair out yet, but please help or that is the next step!
