Since it's clearly your keyboard at fault, I recommend you use Alt+f and 
then s to save. That is, if Alt-f will work for you. Time to get serious --  
if you have a laptop, then buy a cheap used keyboard  with a USB connector 
at a local thrift store for $10, or even a couple just to be sure. Or if 
it's not a laptop, then do the same.

My computer has lots of problems, but until it is replaced I'm dealing with
them.  The latest is when I'm in a word document and hit Control S to save
it  jaws says "undo" like it does with control Z.  Is there a way to fix
