Barbara, I use the HP Photosmart 7520 Series printer. We purchased it from Office Depot a couple of months ago. Despite the fact that it is a touch screen printer, all of the functions can be accessed through the HP software that you install. You can scan documents into a PDF format, and then read that PDF using your Open Book software. Or you can simply use Open Book to do this. This printer gives you a lot of flexibility, and for the money, it's a good printer. You can send faxes with it too. Hope this helps!

I hope this question meets the criteria for this list. I use jaws, and also have openbook scanning software, latest version. My all-in-one scanner/printer is no longer working. Do any of you have any suggestions as to the best compatible all-in-one printer that will work with openbook. I am also using windows 8.0 on my laptop computer. I have been looking on the page at Freedom Scientific regarding recommended scanners, however; there seems to be very few options for the 4-in-one scanners and only one that is wireless. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Barbara Hansen --- This email is free from viruses and malware because avast!
