Which word processor are you using? 

When wishing to isolate paragraphs, I go through documents with the MS navigate 
by paragraph keystroke, control+down arrow.

In your first question, when you say "stop," do you mean pause? If you do mean 
stop, JAWS can read by sentence but not by clause.

Does anyone know of a way to have JAWS stop reading at punctuation marks
like commas, semi-colons and periods, instead of just at periods.  

 

Also, related, is there a way, while reading sentence by sentence, to have
jaws indicate that you're entering a new paragraph?  

 

I am studying for the law school admission test's reading comprehension
section and it would be useful.
