Thought I would follow-up. Thanks for the suggestions.
Dave was right. I could set it up without sighted assistance. First, I turned on "Personal Hot Spot" Second, I scrolled down to get the password. The iPhone said it was discoverable. Third, I went to the JAWS System Tray (Jaws Key plus F-11). Fourth, I just scrolled through the list of available WI-FI connections (like I would in a hotel). Fifth, I chose "Connect" and entered the password (also called a security code). That was it. No sighted assistance was needed. Some mentioned that, for some carriers, one has to enable the Hot Spot functionality and pay an extra fee. I'm an ATT user and have unlimited data grandfathered. So, that was not an issue. The above was using Jaws 15 and Windows 7. I'll try my Windows 8.1 machine tonight. Sent from my Yoga IdeaPad I.
