Tim,

I've looked for the same thing in vain, and a thread some time ago seemed to
confirm that no one else has found the answer. In Outlook, it's even worse; you
can't tell where you are in a folder list. that was perhaps the one advantage
Outlook Express had.

Subject: Having JAWS speak item number

HI All,

Is there a JAWS command that will give me just the item number on any given
list, e.g. in Windows Explorer, Windows Live Mail, Windows 7 search results,
etc.? JAWS gives that information at the very end of a say-line command.
Often times there is quite a lot that JAWS says before giving the item number,
and hopefully someone knows of a direct way to get just that one piece of
information.
