I am a blind developer and would be happy to lend my assistance. The game will
probably require scripting, and will definitely require some graphics labeling.
I would need to take a look at the application to determine what all needs to
be done. However, I am thinking, the above solutions will do the trick, for
the most part. You can contact me off list at [email protected], if you
are interested.

Subject: How do I advise a PC game developer on JAWS compatibility?

Hello. There is a game called Total Extreme Wrestling, which is a wrestling
business simulator. This game has many screens with un-labeled graphic buttons,
dynamic text and some form objects. JAWS will not read anything accept a list
of graphics with number identifiers, and it does not recognize any text on the
screens or any buttons on the alert pop up windows that have actions such as,
OK or Cancel, etc. I intend to contact the developer again to offer more money
for the game if he could just make it accessible, but he has already mentioned
that he is completely unfamiliar with JAWS. How can I advise him on what needs
to be done? Is there someone who has the ability to evaluate a particular
program in order to see what steps need to be taken? Thank you very much.
Aaron
