Hello. It would be easier to advise you if we know which version of Windows, or which versions of Windows you are using.
If you are using Windows 7 or Windows 8. I believe the easiest thing to do is explore your settings from either the start screen are start menu in the jaws group. For the dictionary file you are looking for "program name".JDF. where program name is the name of the program. You may want to open the dictionary manager while focused in the program and take note of the filename of the dictionary file since the filename may be different than the common name of the program. I hope this helps. -----Original Message----- From: Jfw [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Dani L Pagador via Jfw Sent: Sunday, August 24, 2014 11:25 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Where are Dictionary Files for Programs/apps Kept? Hi, Everyone. I've modified the dictionary file for a program that I use for school. I have a back-up computer with JFW and that same program, and don't want to have to re-enter all of the things again on the spare computer. Can I just copy the version of the dictionary that's on the work computer to my spare computer? If so, where do I find that dictionary file? Where does it get copied to? Thanks, Dani -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
