Rob, I haven't used the eBay website, but I notice that no one has replied, so here are two thoughts.
1. Go to screen echo with JAWS key+s and cycle through the choices by repeating this key combo. See what happens when you choose "all" or "none" instead of "highlighted," which I believe is the default. Note that if you need to be alerted to other new text on the page, you will probably lose access to it as well. 2. While on the eBay page, go to JAWS quick settings with JAWS key+v and type refresh into the edit field. On my system, two choices come up. Select the refresh "off" setting and see if that helps. Same caveat as in my first point. -----Original Message----- From: Jfw [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Rob via Jfw Sent: Monday, August 25, 2014 3:10 PM To: [email protected] Subject: JAWS issue with eBay countdown clock Hello, For the last couple months or so, when viewing an auction on eBay with less than 24 hours remaining, there is a countdown clock running on the web page and JAWS is announcing the time every second as the clock updates. Is there any way to stop this time announcement? Thanks, rob -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
