Hi.

I have a friend that is experiencing an interesting problem with using jaws
14 and IE 10.

She is running windows 7 32-bit.

When she opens IE 10, jaws automatically lands on the edit box. She can
enter a search string and presses enter.

No matter what page she opens up, jaws will not read the page. Jaws doesn't
recognize that there are links, and she can't move around on the page. When
on the google page, if she turns off the auto forms mode., jaws will only
say google

Mo matter what she tries to read.

She contacted the Microsoft accessibility folks, but they couldn't fix it.

She also contacted freedom tech support. They repaired jaws, turned off her
security and other programs, but couldn't fix the problem.

Now, jaws will work with Firefox, and if she uses a different screen reader,
she can use IE10.

When using jaws with IE 10, if she checks the color using jaws key+5, it
always says

Black on black.

She can read part of the screen using the jaws cursor however.

Any suggestions on how to fix this problem very welcome.

I hope this all makes some sense.

Thanks

Phil
