In case this helps the discussion move forward, the term of art for this task 
is "message rule." At least, that's what it's called in Outlook and Outlook 
Express. I'm sure instructions can be found through Google.

concerning the question about adding an email to a group folder. You may 
have already found out how to do this, but if you haven't, can you just 
confirm that what you're trying to do is move a message to a folder that 
you've created in windows live mail.
