I see this behavior in IE as well.  What I do is use insert+escape to refresh 
the screen.  It then reads the new page.

Well, as I mentioned in the first post on this thread, my experience has been 
that when I follow a link in Chrome, Chrome follows the link and displays text 
from the new page, but JAWS still thinks its on the old page.
I've opened an issue report with Freedom Scientific regarding this, but haven't 
been contacted by them yet.
