I also use it when I have to do a JAWS uninstall and repair.  It works well 
enough.

Typically you can run narrator which is the speech package that's built in to 
windows to get your computer up and running with no sighted assistance.
I believe it's as simple as doing a windows r then typing narrator Your 
computer should start talking and you're on your way.

Getting a Dell Venue 8 Pro 5830 tablet today.  I know this has Windows 8.1 full 
installed.  What, if any, ways are there to set this up without any sighted
