You may have set IE to have no tab browsing. This would nullify these
keystrokes, since tabs would be opened in another window instead of the
default.

update
I started adjusting some changes in internet options but along the way lost
track of what I was changing lol, so I decided to just reset IE back to
it's
defaults, delete personal settings etc. Now, the keystrokes work, the
next
question I need to answer for myself is what did I do in the first place
to
cause it not to work, apparently it was one of these options as after it
was
resetted, it now works.

Good morning: on my desktop with windows 8.1, IE11, and JFW15, CTRL 1
through 8 DOES indeed cycle through the different tabs that are open. Very
convenient!

Hi Kimsan, I'm currently on my windows 7 machine with IE11, latest JAWS,
and
those key strokes work very well for me. In the morning I'll try on my
8.1,
IE11, and JAWS15 and let you know the results.

Subject: windows 8.1, ie 11 and navigating between opened tabs issue
This topic has come up recently on numerous lists.
It was mentioned in these lists that CTRL 1 through 8 will cycle through
the
different tabs you have opened and CTRL 9 will take you to the last
focused
tab.
I'm using windows 8.1, iee 11 and latest version for all the screen
readers
and none of these work, so does it indeed work in IE 11. I hear it works
in
ie 10 but not here for me using ie 11. Thoughts?
