JAWS 15 does the same. In fact, I can't remember a release that
didn't indicate blank lines when reading manualy a line at a
time. I can't swear it did it all the way back to 1.x, but it has
been default behavior for as long as I can recall.

since you're discussing JAWS 16 Beta, then I think it's not
relevant to this discussion forum. I think FS wants Beta testers to
report issues directly back to them using their Beta Bug form.

i don't want jaws to say blank. btw this is only in jaws 16 beta not jaws 15.

to not speak blank but it does anyway. anyone know anything about this?
