Just to satisfy my curiosity, how does backing up the system interact with the
JAWS product authorization scheme? As I remember, JAWS for DOS (the last
version that I had used until recently) was copy protected in such a way that
you couldn't restore it from a backup and continue to use it without having
the product re-authorized. Fortunately, I never ran into that problem on my
DOS computers back in the 1990s when I was using JAWS on a PC with a DECTALK
speech synthesizer card.
