1, from desktop, insert+f2=run jaws manager, 2, s=settings center, press enter, 3, while in the edit field, type in, pixel you will see 3 results, to make change, you need to press the f6key. -----Original Message----- From: Jfw [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Kimberly via Jfw Sent: Wednesday, November 26, 2014 5:30 AM To: Jason White via Jfw Subject: Re: bRAILLE TEXT SHIFTED TO THE RIGHT UNDER ms-wORD 2007 AND jaws 16 Jason, Not sure this addresses your issue but I have seen the same sort of shifted text while working in the terminal emulation package I use in my job. There used to be a setting called pixels per space that could be changed to shift the text back toward the left on a braille display. I haven't been able to locate that setting in jaws 16 and can't say if it is still available. For other reasons I have gone back to using jaws 15, but would be interested to hear any further developments on the problem of shifted text in version 16. Specifically, most of the line is blank, and te first character of text appears near the right end of the braille display. Pressing alt-tab to move out of MS-Word and back in seems to correct it (for a while, at least). > > The text itself is aligned left, body text paragraph style, so there is no problem with the underlying formatting of the document that would explain this issue. > > Has anyone else seen this? > > > _______________________________________________ > Jfw mailing list > [email protected] > http://lists.the-jdh.com/mailman/listinfo/jfw_lists.the-jdh.com _______________________________________________ Jfw mailing list [email protected] http://lists.the-jdh.com/mailman/listinfo/jfw_lists.the-jdh.com _______________________________________________ Jfw mailing list [email protected] http://lists.the-jdh.com/mailman/listinfo/jfw_lists.the-jdh.com
