I know how to set page numbers in Word 2010, but I can't get JAWS to suppress
the first page number, which I like to do. Here's what happens.

I press alt-p, then s, then p. This takes me to the page setup control.

>From here, I ought to be able to get to a control labeled something like
>"different page," which suppresses the number on the first page. However, I
>can't move beyond this "page setup" point. Enter, tab, control tab and right
>arrow don't work. Down arrow takes me through some numbers that aren't what I
>want.

When I press JAWS key+7, JAWS says it doesn't recognize the control.

Here's the teaser. I've tried working with this control many times in the past
24 hours, and one time it worked. I have no idea what I did differently, if
anything.

Any ideas?
