Ah, but I heard a report last night that said the brains behind the new button is that it can sense how a person moves the mouse prior to clicking the button. So where might that leave us non-mouse users?

It looks like good news, due to the ability of robots to overcome CAPTCHA. According to this UPI article, Google is substituting a button or checkbox. We'll see how that works. Here's a link to the article:
