My desktop PC is running Windows 8.1 64-bit I'm using JFW 16 and Office 2013. All Windows updates are current.
I've created an unprotected Excel workbook and create a dropdown list. I hit alt-down arrow, and I hear blank. I down arrow repeatedly and hear blank blank However, if I then hit enter, one of the items from the dropdown list is selected in the cell, so I know the dropdown is working. This all started when I discovered that on my work computer running Windows 7 and Office 2010, I have no trouble reading dropdowns, but I do have trouble on my home desktop computer, and also on my laptop which is running Windows 7 and Office 2010. My own computers are 64-bit, and I think my work computer may be 32-bit. That's the only real difference I can think of. I have found the same issue with JFW 15 and 16.
