Hi,

>From what you say, I gather your Folder Pane is either minimized or OFF.
Please do the following to make the folder pane visible:

1. open your Outlook 2013
2. move to VIEW ribbon and arrow down to LAYOUT
3. Click on Folder button and ensure NORMAL is checked. If not, arrow down
to NORMAL and hit ENTER
4. you will end up in the Layout ribbon. Hit ESCAPE.
5. now your FOLDER Pane is visible. You can SHIFT + TAB to the folder pane
6. You will be in INBOX folder.
7. arrow down / up till you hear the folder name that you need to delete.
8. click on either the APPLICATION key or shift + F10 and arrow up / down to
DELETE.

HTH. Let me know whether it worked.

Cheers!

Gopi Bala

Subject: Update: Deleting folders in Outlook 2013

Hi. I just wanted to get back to this topic and thank people so far for
their suggestions. Unfortunately, I can't shift tab and get to a list of my
folders. I'm using Windows 7 and Outlook 2013 by the way, if that matters.
What I get when I do try that is a folder pane minimize button. I've tried
arrowing around there, but I can only arrow up and get two other buttons, a
sent mail button and an inbox button. I'm using the CTRL+Y keystroke to get
to my list of folders, but when I move to the folder(s) I want to delete and
try pressing the applications key absolutely nothing happens.

I hope this has explained things a little more clearly and that someone
might be able to help. Regardless, I hope that all of you reading this have
a very Merry Christmas.
