Hi, my name is Annabelle. I have this program, Atmosphere Deluxe <http://www.vectormediasoftware.com/atmdeluxehome.htm> http://www.vectormediasoftware.com/atmdeluxehome.htm, and I'm hoping any of you fellow JAWS members out there can help with this situation I've run into. I'm having a little trouble with customizing some of the controls to be recognized correctly by JAWS. Particularly the controls for "Volume", "Rate Of Change", and "Pan". They seem to only be spoken as "Graphic 0", when I believe they're supposed to be sliders of some sort, either "left/right Slider" or "Up/Down Slider". I've tried creating prompts for each slider, but that didn't do exactly what I want. Specifically, I want JAWS to be able to say something like, "Rate Of Change Up/Down Slider, 50%", with the tutor message "Right/UpArrow to increase, Left/DownArrow to decrease". When I look at the class of these, it specifically lists them as "ThunderRT6UserControlDC", which I'm not sure what kind of control that is. How do I change them to make this program work efficiently with JAWS? You can test the program by downloating a trial version here: http://www.vectormediasoftware.com/atmdeluxedown.htm I'm in the process of creating a script manager for Atmosphere Deluxe 7.0, and I'm wondering, how would I change a ThunderRT6UserControlDC that's supposed to be the volume slider into an "UpDownSlider"? Along with wanting JAWS to say the name and type of the slider, I also want it to say the level of the volume. On top of that, my computer, when in Homerow Mode, thinks that Atmosphere Deluxe is actually "MSVBVM60.dll", rather than "Deluxe7.exe". Would I have to do this with sighted help? I'm confused!
I've reclassed some of the ThunderRT6 Controls to the appropriate accessible classes, for example, "ThunderRT6CheckBox" = "Check Box", and "ThunderRT6CommandButton" = "Button", but all the rest of them are seen as "ThunderRT6UserControlDC", and I can't tell what is what, since it doesn't say that they're a "ThunderRT6Slider", "ThunderRT6ScrollBar", or "ThunderRT6Dialogue", for example. Instead they're all the same, "ThunderRT6UserControlDC". How would I fix that? Since I know a few of the controls happen to be sliders, and some are dialogues. _____ No virus found in this message.
