Dear Friend,

I have been using SAP with JAWS for the past six months without any problems.

I am using the latest build of SAP (SAP 7.2) along with JAWS 15 on a Windows 7 machine.

In order to make SAP accessible with JAWS, kindly download the JAWS scrips developed by SAP & install them on your workstation. These scrips can be downloaded from the SAP Marketplace for free. Your IT person should have the user id & password to log in to SAP Marketplace to download the scrips for you.

After installing the scrips, accessibility needs to be enabled in the SAP servers.

After the above two steps are done, JAWS works very well with SAP.

Subject: Using JAWS with SAP

Hi everyone!

With so many users on this list, I have high hopes that someone somewhere has had experience using JAWS with SAP. I am currently using ZoomText and SAP crashes with it immediately and everything stops working. Our IT guru thinks maybe JAWS or Magic might be a better solution. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Here is what the SAP website says SAP is:
"SAP software represents the terms "Systems Applications and Products in Data Processing." It is related to ERP, which is "Enterprise Resource Planning." SAP is also the name of the company. The firm is widely recognized as the global leader in enterprise applications in the form of software and services related to software. In terms of market capitalization, SAP would be the third-largest independent software maker in the world."

Thanks for your help.

Cheers,
j
