I am having trouble with the table commands in JAWS. I am using JAWS on
this page:

http://www.freedomscientific.com/Training/Surfs-Up/Table_Reading_Commands.htm

using IE 11 and JAWS 16. Some of the commands listed on that page do not
work properly on the table on the page that lists the "Table Layer Reading
Commands". Here are the steps I am taking:

1) Start JAWS and go to that page.
2) Hit Insert + spacebar, followed by T to get into table layer mode. When
I do that I heard "table layer", which is reassuring.
3) Hit T to go the "table layer reading commands table".
4) Try to use the arrow keys (down arrow) to move down the first column.
Instead it takes me sequentially through the cells row by row.
5) After hitting three down-arrows, I tried to use shift+up arrow to read
the current row. Instead, it selected the text in the previous cell and
read that.
6) Tried to use "Numpad 5" to say the current cell, and I heard "space".
That was with numlock off. When I put numlock on, I just heard "five". I
was expecting it to read the content of the current cell.
7) Tried to use "Windows + period" from the "Classic Table Reading
Commands" section in that page, which is supposed to be "current column".
I was hoping it would read the current column, but instead all I heard was
"windows period".

Is there something I'm missing?

Thanks,
