I've even placed some documents on a public drive as departmental resources.

I recently created a series of PDF documents with MS Word 2010. As I tabbed
through the "save" options, I noticed a couple of items referring to
accessibility, one of which was checked by default. These documents have proven
to be accessible to all users, sighted or otherwise.

Subject: Need help with creating accessible PDF files with JAWS.

Hi folks! I'm asking this question on behalf of a colleague of mine who is
having difficulty with JAWS accessible PDF files. From what he says, when he
makes the PDF file accessible for JAWS users, the text disappears for sighted
viewers. In other words, no one besides JAWS users can read the contents of
the PDF file. Has anyone encountered this error, and if so, how did you
resolve it?
