Looks to me like it keeps the source formatting to some extent. If pasting 
to Excel, you may get some blank columns due to extra tabs, but that's easy 
to remedy.

If pasting to Notepad or other text, it appears you get spaces in place of 
tabs.

Give it a try yourself with tables and pasting to various applications, and 
you'll get the idea.

I'm very impressed with this capability that's existed for a long time with 
JAWS. I just never remembered to use it. My thanks to the poster who 
originally brought it to our attention.
