I have a Microsoft Surface which I like and is about the same weight as the iPad. I use it with a USB keyboard or the one that can be purchased with it. I add a USB hub to get more ports since there is only one. It is not the cheapest option, but works well with JAWS and is quite fast and has reasonable battery life.
