That is probably it. I am experiencing the same problem on my desktop and laptop, both of which run Windows 8.1. Since Windows 8.1 is fully integrated with One Drive, the files update at startup. For that reason, whenever I'm not in a hurry, I wait a few minutes for Windows to complete all its startup processes, and then everything works fine. I hope this helps.

My office machine does the same darn thing, and that seems to be why. -----Original Message----- From: Jfw [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Kevin Hourigan via Jfw Sent: Sunday, March 01, 2015 11:57 AM To: The Jaws for Windows support list. Subject: Warming up Jaws Hello Listers, My machine seems to stutter and jerk until it gets warmed up, especially if I do things too fast. Then after a few actions it performs normally. Does anyone have any suggestions please? I am using Jaws 16.0.1925, Windows 7, 64 bit. Thank you for any advice. Cheers Kevin. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
