Mike,

It would have helped if we had known you were relating to a Braille display, 
and not a standard keyboard. The total hardware and software configuration 
is often necessary to get valid responses, and not educated guesses.

  If you are using a braille display, uncheck the box for active cursor
follows braille. I spoke to FS and that fixed it for me. Before I did that,
my characters were all entering right to left which 1so not how I was
entering them.
