I don't use the product, but OCR is the main point here.  Of course, you can 
now scan an image and let JAWS new capability do the rest, if that makes your 
life easier.

OpenBook will scan your document as an image if you set the file type to tif 
pcx jpg etc. This will retain the pictures in the original.
