There is a way to do this. Remove the Realtech drivers and thenb reboot the
computer. Windows will install a high deffinition audio driver, and you will
be able to use the mic. I have actually done this, and it does work. Make
sure you have either a Braille display connected or someone sighted
available in case something goes wrong though.

Then I would like to warn you all on this list.
If you buy a computer, see very carefully what sound chip you get.
With realtek audio you can't use your mic at all. with skype, recording etc.
I just want to tell you so you don't need to put so much work on it that I
did.
