Hi Claudia, JAWS 15 and 16 both work very well with Windows 8.1! If you have at least JAWS 15, you have the touch cursor to use to navigate the start screen and use the apps that are there. Windows 10 is supposed to be even better, because it improves 8.1! It should come out in the fall, but if you get 8.1 now, you will be able to update to Windows 10 for free!
