I actually have an escalated case with FS, and was told to call someone back, but I got the person's voice mail three times.

The problem is this: Since about a month ago I have had problems reading long messages in Mozilla Thunderbird, particularly digests with long tables of contents. At some point, there are frequent and increasingly longer pauses, and sometimes Jaws resets itself, putting me back at the top of the message. In places well into the message, the computer becomes sluggish. I have recently noticed that when Alt-tabbing away from TB, even when there is not a lockup, Thunderbird is reluctant to relinquish focus. The long messages read fine when View Source is used, or the message is saved as a text file, or the contents are copied and pasted into Notepad.

I have read the messages with success using Jaws 15. Even when I did a complete uninstall and re-install of 16, I have the same problems. There does not seem to be a difference between using the normal configuration or the third party Thunderbird Blind scripts. More ram was added to the computer, and still no change.

If anyone has had similar experiences,or has suggestions on how to handle this, I would appreciate. Thanks.
