I can't answer the question concerning if it is the way FS or 8.x storing
files, but Londa Peterson's directions finally helped me locate the HJ pad.
I think someone, can't remember who on this list, suggested helps for saving
HJ pad to the desktop. The exact directions for saving to desktop didn't
work, but I was able to successfully save HJ pad to the desktop. I feel that
I am beginning to get this 8.1 computer similar to my older pc. If I could
just get my email program to stop freezing or whatever it's lagging is,
things would be great. I did delete cookies, but am still having that
problem.

I appreciate all of you on this list so much. This has been such a
tremendous help to me, considering my intermediate computer skills.

Have a wonderful day.

Is it FS, or is it the way 8.X stores files?

That's incredible!
Why on earth would Freedom Scientific want to hide all those programs in
such a ridiculous manner?
Why not name that folder something more meaningful such as ... I don't know.
Let's have a contest to come up with a more meaningful folder name and
suggest it to FS?
