Hello. Make sure that your speech echo is said to either characters or characters and words while in the application such as Internet Explorer. You can change your a co-settings by pressing JAWS key+2 on the number row.

Previously, JAWS used to say “star, star” when I typed passwords in Internet Explorer. But now JAWS stays silent. I know that the password is getting typed because the star symbols appear on the screen & pressing Enter after typing the password performs as expected.
