Good point about prior versions not being available as download files. It's
another reason to ignore automatic updates and go to the FS website to install
a new release, which you make easy for all of us by posting the download links.

Hi Again Adrian,

In answer to your question, that I didn't answer in my prior post, yes he
could if he's running the latest build / version. The current build /
version is the only 1 available on the FS website.

Take care.

Mike, couldn't Rick just download the FS file with the version of JAWS he is
currently using, if he hasn't already, then follow the instructions you
posted? No need to remove anything, is there?

My apologies if I've missed anything in the rest of this thread.

Hi Rick,

You would need to go to Freedom Scientific's website & download the latest
build & use it for the repair or, remove your current version of Jaws but,
leave shared settings & shared components. Then, run the latest J16
installer. Below are the direct download links for both 32 & 64 bit:

32 Bit:

http://files.freedomscientific.com/WebFiles/JAWS/J16.0.4350enu-x86.exe

64 Bit:

http://files.freedomscientific.com/WebFiles/JAWS/J16.0.4350enu-x64.exe
Take care.

Well, question. When I received the original disc for JAWS 16 it was last
November when it first came out. Since then, there have been several
updates to it. Now I am using the most recent update. When I'd put the
disc in the drive, it wouldn't contain the most recent update. How would I
go about getting the path for the most recent update?
