Hi all. I am getting a serious message when I try to open a PDF document in Adobe Reader on my Windows 8.1 laptop. The message goes like this Fatal Error Adobe failed to connect to DDE surver Then, at the bottom, there is an Okay button. This is all I can hear on the screen. When I press the Okay button, the message will not disappear from the screen. I would appreciate any input on why I get this message. The PDF document never opens up in adobe reader, but I get this message. Thank you so much for your help.
