Aside from just the sound that notifies you of an incoming message,
many functions within Microsoft Office can come with sound
alerts--including when a file is saved or printed.  To have full sound
feedback capability in Office, you need to download and install the
Office Sounds add-in, which can be found at
http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=7015.  This
works in every edition of Office I have ever used, up to and including
2013.  (Not sure about how to implement this in Office 365.)
