It works! Smooth as silk. I don't even have to open the email, or press control-n for new contact. Awesome!

OK, Keith. If I hit escape, I'm outside your message. So, right
there, I hit Control C; then Control 3 (to get to Contacts); then Control V
to paste in the new address. I think that in a list like this, it is better
to do it the old way to Alt 1 to the To field, copy it, start a new e-mail
just to have a place to get out the < and > and list stuff, just get yours.
But if you get an individual one, or you can even try with mine to Escape,
then hit Control C, then Control 3, then Control V. Then you'll have the
e-mail address. I did it with yours, and then deleted it; somehow or other I
deleted it twice, but it's out. Anyway, that is one way that it can be done
in Outlook 2013.

The good thing about the older harder way, I think, is a little more control
of the data.

Best from,

Carolyn

What do you mean by "going outside your message"? Thanks, Keith

Ann, I did as I was instructed yesterday - went outside your message, hit
Control C for copy, then Control 3 for Contacts, then Control V for paste.
Your address is in my contacts, which I will delete, but my instructor told
me to practice what he taught, so I did that one. It definitely works in
Outlook 13 and is so easy! I hope it will work for you.

Best from,

Carolyn

I tried everything. would you believe it just doesn't show up in my Office
2010 Professional? But I do know how to shift-tab to the from field and
copy and paste. (LOL) At 10:02 PM 8/20/2015, you wrote:
