Good afternoon everyone,

I read through the information about Anyburn last night and plan to install it on our machines to check it out. I like the idea of having a free CD ripper included with Anyburn. So far as I can tell Burnaware does not include a CD ripper in addition to a burner. Like Anyburn Burnaware also works great with Jaws.

We have had an issue with Burnaware and are curious to know if anyone else has had this happen when burning CDS. Since some of the presentations we burn to CD are quite long we burn them as MP3 files instead of burning them as audio CDS so the entire presentation fits on a single CD. On a few occasions when using Burnaware to burn some files to CD Burnaware reports that the MP3 CD was burned successfully but when we attempt to play the CD using Windows Media Player Media Player fails to play the CD. Prior to burning the files we always check to be sure that the source files aren't corrupt. They play from our hard drives and from the cloud without difficulty but when burnt to a CD despite Burnaware's claim to the contrary the CDS won't play using a hardware player or a software media player. Even when multiple attempts to burn these files to CD were done the files in question still failed to burn to CD successfully using Burnaware. All we end up doing is creating coasters. These are CDS that fail to burn or play back properly. About the only thing they're good for is for use as coasters for drinking glasses or for a one-way trip to the trash bin. It's a good way to waste valuable CDS. Perhaps burning these same files with Anyburn may yield more positive results. Fortunately most of the CDS we've created using Burnaware play without problems using hardware and software playback systems.

Given all I've described above have others had this issue with Burnaware and how did you solve it? Has this also happened with Anyburn? Sorry to go a drift here but we were talking about CD burning and ripping software that is Jaws-friendly. All the best.

thanks for the AnyBurn suggestion. My initial observations are good. JAWS identifies the buttons and combo boxes.

There are some graphics buttons that I have to figure if they are important and need labeling.
