I don't know key strokes for Excel 2013. But in old excel alt+d I believe
there is a delimited function. If between column data info is a space then
you can use delimiting function to separate into separate columns.
>From an old email message.
Alt+d arrow down to text to columns and enter.
Wizzard appears, I checkd delimited, next,
checked space as delimiter, next
After looking at report only 1 line changed.
So I typed
control+g and enter type a6:a499 to select cells and enter
repeated above process and all data from a6:A499 are now in separate
columns.

Subject: Copying tables from websites to excel

Is there a way to copy an entire table from a webbsite to an excel
spreadsheet maintaining the row and column layout?I am aware of how to
select the entire table by pressing F8 but when ppasting the result is one
continuous column.

For example, if the website table is a 10 row by 10 column, the pasted
result in excel is a column of 100 cells, A1 thru A100 instead of the
desired A1 thru J10 table.

Thanks, Scott
