Hello List, I was checking my settings under the appearance tab in my display properties and under color scheme it had nothing selected, so per hj I selected adn switched to Windows Standard. Now When in Outlook 98 the read status line comand to check the number of waiting messages only speaks the words scroll down symbol. The show status bar option is still checked in the view menu.
