Hello Dorothea,
I have had this identical problem, and the jfw listers were very helpful in
telling me how to correct the problem in the past.
I would tell you step by step how to correct your problem, excepting a
problem of my own. Two days ago I upgraded to IE4.01, which accepted all of
my files, mail boxes and etc., which are no longer in the old Internet
Explorer, but in the new one. This is not my problem.
I also upgraded to Microsoft Outlook Explorer (OE), which is my problem.
I believe that both programs can do the same thing with jfw3.2031 as prior
versions of jfw could do, but differently. As soon as I learn to deal with
these differences, especially between OE and IE (Internet Explorer version
3.x, my previous browser), I will write the step by step procedures for
correcting your problem.
If you don't hear from me soon, it is because I am still learning how to
navigate with Outlook Express, Microsoft Internet Explorer and JFW.
Especially, let me know if you do not solve your problem before I figure out
how to get around with this new software of mine, which makes things the
same, but differently.
I believe your problem lies in the settings of your browser. Of the choices
there pick the one that says text file or attach text file.
First,I think you have to pick text file or something like that from your
view menu and preview pane choice, but I am not positive.
Hopefully, you will have solved the mystery before I can learn OE. Let me
know.
Harry
