Hello, Kevin. Yes, JAWS will work with PowerPoint, it just may take some
practice to get used to how it works.

What version of PowerPoint will the person be using? I know more about
the PowerPoint that comes with Office 4.3 then I do Office 97 simply because
the clip art gallery crashes when I try to use it.

I would advise your client to try reading some existing presentations in
slide view to get a handle on how they read. Presentations can have
bulleted, two column, or graphics among other things in them. The thing I
like about PowerPoint is that it is possible for someonewho is blind to
insert graphics into a slide and not worry about where the picture is. If
you pick the Text with Clip art or clip art with text, for example when
defining the layout for a new slide, you can read the JAWS cursor to tell
you where to add the title and clip art. PwerPoint will say "click to add
title", "click to add text", and "click to add Clipart." Afteryou click
once, your cursor is where it should be.

You are most welcome to e-mail me privately if I can help you further.
There is a lot to this to put into 1 e-mail message.
