In the main Outlook Express window move to the
menu bar and pull down the "Tools" menu, then move down (or backwards - up)
until you
are at the "Stationary" selection and select that option.
You will be placed into a dialog box that will walk you through several
aspects
of stationary including a check box to indicate to include
your signature automatically and
a radial button list to use text or what amounts to a picture of an
actual signature.

I use the text and after selecting that button you are immediately into an
edit
box where you can enter whatever you want to act as yur "signature."

This edit box will take multiple lines.

I have not tried the "real" signature button (that is not it's real title).

P.S.
If you do not select the "always include" button in the signature
walk-through you can use the "Insert" pull down menu and select
the signature choice.
