I have this on my notebook, and on most notebook I have dealt with. I think
it is a 98 thing. However I have noticed volume problems, like on my
Jetbook notebook computer, I can't pusht eh wave volume past 49 per cent in
volume control, and whenever two sounds are going at the same time, the
volume tends to get lower on one of them. I think it has something to do
with the sound drivers. Check your notebook, though not all notebooks are
created equally, but I would imagine if you are running windows 98 on a
newer notebook this should work. We have several notebooks in the tech
center and the two that I have dealt with, a micron and the jetbook I am
working on now, both allow for multiple wave streams.
