Jamie, Teresa and others:
First, if you're not using ICQ99, download it from the ICQ web site at
http://www.icq.com and install it.
This version of ICQ provides 2 important hotkeys. CTRL-SHIFT-A
toggles the contact list open and closed. CTRL-SHIFT-I simulates
double-clicking of the system tray icon. If there are pending events,
this will open them. Otherwise, this will behave as the CTRL-SHIFT-A
and open the contact list if it is closed.
When an event (message) is being displayed, focus is placed on the
reply button, so if you want to reply to the message, just whack the
enter key. If you do not want to reply, press ESCAPE.
This only leaves reading the message as a missing step. unless you
set a frame around the message area or you turn say all on, you will
have to use the jaws cursor to read the message text and examine the
sender's information.
When you've gotten this far and you're ready for a lesson in setting
frames, let me know. :)
And, Jamie, you might be more successful in getting a response if you
ask more specific questions. I've guessed at some information that I
think might help you and others based on messages in this thread, but
I'm not sure you'll find it helpful. Let me know and feel free to ask
specific questions.

have."
