I seem to remember that the failure to speak "Read" and "Unread" status was one of the
little defects in the JFW beta scripts for Outlook Express 5 that came out for use
with JFW 3.2. I think I had to fix it manually by changing the class name that JFW
looked for when it was seeking out the message list. I don't remember how the scripts
posted at the mailing list site did, but I think they, too, had the problem. If so, I
might be able to point you in the right direction.
