I will try the Microsoft file scanner, hopefully that'll come up with
something.
I have done numerous Scandisk and Defrag sessions, and they don't seem to
help. Scandisk doesn't find any errors and Defrag runs smoothly, without
any apparent problems.
I have Netscape's cache all but turned off, I will turn it the rest of the
way off. However, the caching/page fault phenomenon occurs even when
Netscape is not running.
At least now I have something new to try! Thanks very much.
