Interesting problem for everyone this afternoon. On the two NT
workstations on which I maintain JFW, I can't read the checkboxes in the
Advanced properties for IE 5. The version of JFW is 3.3 patched up to the
most latest build 26. The machines run NT Workstation with Service Pack
4. The version of Internet Explorer is exactly 5.00.2314.1003. The
machines are made by Dell, and use the ATI Rage Pro AGP 2X video cards.
The version of the driver files is exactly 5.00.112, 4.0.0.
Has H-J or anyone on the list experienced and solved this problem? It
started appearing only after patching from JFW 3.30.22 to 3.30.26. I did
not observe whether or not the problem existed in JFW 3.30.25 or 3.30.24,
as I only had IE 4 at that time. I know that build 22 works, because I
went back to it to observe that the problem disappeared. I no longer have
any copies of builds 24 or 25 for any comparison work.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
